Restore Your Deck’s Surface Before Staining or Sealing
Deck sanding is a crucial step in preserving both the look and longevity of your deck—especially in a climate like Lake Oswego’s. Between the steady rainfall and seasonal moisture, surface wear is inevitable. At NW Surface Cleaner, we provide professional deck sanding services that smooth out splinters, remove worn finishes, and prepare your deck for staining, sealing, or refinishing. Whether you live near Lakewood Bay or along the tree-lined streets of First Addition, we’ll ensure your deck is ready to handle the elements and look great doing it.
Precision Sanding for Every Type of Deck
Our deck sanding services are tailored to the material and condition of your deck. We handle both hardwood and softwood surfaces, including cedar, redwood, Ipe, mahogany, and pressure-treated lumber. Sanding can remove old finishes, smooth down uneven areas, and expose a clean surface ready to absorb stain or sealant. Whether your deck needs light surface sanding or a full pre-refinishing preparation, we bring the tools and experience to do it right.
We also provide:
- Sanding before staining or refinishing
- Smoothing of rough or splintered areas
- Finish removal from weathered decks
- Prep work for painting or composite overlays
